Amanda Wright

1.     I wanted to use this forum to express my response to Amanda Wright that came to visit out classroom. I found it very interesting that there are people that are thrust into the world of Public History without necessarily asking for it. As she explained where she had come from and everything her family had accomplished. What she has done and the way she had stepped up for such a prestigious American story is an inspiration. We are so fortunate a historical enthusiast to have Amanda speak with us about being an ambassador for the family. It makes me want to look into how well other families with rich historical backgrounds have chosen to pass on a family story to the country.
