Artifact Controversy: Who Owns It?
This article looks at certain artifacts, located throughout many different museums of the world, that are being debated upon. The question arises (of them) where do they belong? This relates closely to the presentation that Jordan gave last week about some artifacts that are being fought over right now. This website talks about 9 artifacts that are hotly being debated upon right now. Most of the artifacts that Jordan referenced are talked about in this article, but there are a lot that surprised me. Ones that I had no idea were even remotely controversial,or even were in existence. It's is really interesting to see how controversial some items are and how big of an effect they can have on certain groups of peoples. It is important for the nations and peoples involved to look more into these items and research their origins and relevance in order to decide where they should be permanently placed.
