Santa, Santa Everywhere

While pursing the Ohio Historical Society website I came across their calendar events. They have certainly gotten into the holiday spirit. On this coming Saturday there are no less than seven holiday related events. A few having to do mostly with the traditions of the holidays but two in particular caught my eye. Echos in Time Theatre: Tales of a department store Santa and Curator Talks: Santa Claus in the Archives. The first being of a 1950s department store Santa's experiences. (You'll shoot you eye out!) I hope a few of you got that reference. The second being of the reference archivist showing the popular images of Santa Claus and his views of them. Its nice to know that the holiday spirit reaches everywhere. Just so long as Christmas carols aren't played constantly.
