JSTOR

During my undergrad, this one online resource became unequally invaluable to me when I needed to do research.

I know many of us are history majors and this one should be a no-brainer, but for the non-history majors in the program, JSTOR is a not-for-profit digital library created in 1995. It contains mostly articles related to liberal arts, but its vast stores of information has something scholarly for everyone. A blurb from their site shows exactly how massive of a resource this is:

"JSTOR currently includes more than 2,000 academic journals, dating back to the first volume ever published, along with thousands of monographs and other materials relevant for education. We have digitized more than 50 million pages and continue to digitize approximately 3 million pages annually."

That's a lot of sources people. They also state that they reach over 8400 institutions, of course including Wright State. JSTOR is not a free service, however. But our nice, high tuitions at least provide us with access to their service through the library homepage, but you can also access it here.
